Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Election Days

First things first. Are you allowed to vote? Check the voter requirements here.
Great. You’re allowed to vote. But in order to vote, you must be registered. SO REGISTER NOW! The last day to register is 23 days before an election. DON’T WAIT. You can begin the process here.

PHOTO ID REQUIREMENTS
Photo ID is now required to vote in Virginia. You need to be prepared with a proper photo ID when you go to your polling location or you will not be able to vote. Learn more about what is acceptable ID and more info related to the new requirements here.

CAN’T VOTE IN-PERSON?
If you’re not able to get to your polling place, you can ask for an absentee ballot to be mailed to you. Find out more here.
