Let’s give D’Art Center a big NEON District welcome by helping them move into their new space in the neighborhood.
This Thursday, 4 PM – 7 PM, 740 Duke Street.
Mainly we will be painting galleries/ common areas. (If you have some extra white primer to donate, please bring it.)
“The message we want to send is that we appreciate the help and support from the arts district as we commence with this move!” said Carolyn Phillips, the executive direct of D’Art. “On Thursday, we’d like to complete painting for the common areas of the space: galleries, hallways, and possibly the classroom.”
If you have experience or expertise, they also need help hanging lighting at a future date in the near future.
D’Art classes are beginning February 1st. It’s all very exciting.
“Not only does it help us out, but it is an excellent opportunity for us to get to know our new community,” said Angela Tilley, Community Outreach Manager for D’Art.
