O’Connor Brewing Company brings back one of its largest events of the year! The 5th Annual O’Ctoberfest will take place Saturday, September 21, 2019 from Noon to 10:00 PM. O’Ctoberfest celebrates the famed German beer festival on its traditional date, but of course O’Connor Brewing Company puts its own local spin on the day!
O’Ctoberfest also celebrates the release of Pulp Fiction, a Blood Orange Berliner Weisse, unveiled at the beginning of the day, and the re-release of Imperial O’Ctoberfest. The new brew will be ceremonially rolled out in a huge barrel to kick off the festivities.
Bring an appetite, delectable German food trucks will be on-site including Deutscher Imbiss, Your Pie, and LMNz Pretzels dishing up the delicious German fare, like bratwursts and schnitzel and pretzels.
Musical performances include Mike Lawson kicking off the festival from 1:00-3:00 PM. Our favorite beer-loving band, the Esoteric Ramblers, who have added some German festival songs to their set just for the occasion from 3:30-5:30. From Boone, North Carolina, Unaka Prong will hit the stage from 6:00-8:00 with a jam-rock-jazz fusion. And closing out evening is Court Street Company from 8:30-10:00. Additional activities include face painting and Dual Axels, mobile axe throwing range.
The Festival is rain or shine. The beautiful, shaded beer garden and outdoor bar will be open for communal drinking and eating. Come dressed in lederhosen, a dirndl, or traditional O’Ctoberfest attire for a 10% discount on your bar tab.
