Norfolk, VA – May 23, 2018 — O’Connor Brewing Company will host its fifth annual O’Connoroo summer beer festival on Saturday, June 2 from Noon – 10:00 p.m. This event is free, open to the public, family-friendly, and features the 2018 release of Tart Tropicale, a tart, light-bodied, passion fruit-infused golden ale, great for quenching thirst in the warm summer sun. The tropical aromas of passion fruit are accented by the tart crispness of this ale. Whether you’re grabbing 16 ounce cans to go, or enjoying a pint at O’Connoroo, this is the perfect ale for your summer fun.
The Festival’s live music lineup includes Lewis McGehee (12:30 – 1:30pm), The Framers (2:00 – 3:00pm), Opin (3:30 – 4:30pm), Superfang (5:00 – 6:30pm), Anthony Rosano and The Conqueroos (7:00 – 10:00pm).
Local restaurants and vendors will host pop-ups onsite by 80/20 Burger Bar Test Kitchen, Toast and Handsome Biscuit, The Public House and Steel Spade Gelato & Coffee.
Guests can also enjoy cornhole and giant Jenga in the beautiful outdoor bar and beer garden.
Due to the large capacity of this event, the brewery will not be allowing tasting flights or growler fills on this day. Dogs are welcome in the outside areas. Parking is limited, but there are new bike racks on site, or $5 vouchers can be obtained to App A Cab for a cab ride.
