Dr. Robert Cramer, Associate Professor in the School of Community & Environmental Health at Old Dominion University, will discuss his research and best practices in the community and Veterans Affairs healthcare system.

He will also touch on his prior suicide prevention research, as well as his current and future research on the topic. To get a feel for Dr. Cramer’s focus on mental health, check out this AltDaily article here.

This is an informal event that is open to the public. The Science Pubs organizers would like you to RSVP by October 23rd at here. The first twenty-five people to arrive for the event get a free beverage, and networking begins at 6, with the program kicking off at 6:30. You can follow the event on Facebook here.

This event is happening during the Mentally Healthy Norfolk Month, which aims to inform and empower the community through a series of workshops, public service campaigns, and educational events.
