Lets talk about it. It’s been a rough winter. Rough for me, rough for you, rough for your dog and rough on those boots you pretend are for snow.
I grew up in Virginia Beach and MAN, I don’t remember it ever being this bone cold. Even after spending four years up north in Boston, I was unprepared. Like every VA winter, I have my light jackets and cozy sweaters ready to wear along with a cute but unrealistic knit scarf… stuff just didn’t cut it this year.
Until this week! Lo and behold one morning the heat was up too high so we opened a window and WARM air blew in though the lacy curtains. It felt like I imagined the cold this whole time. What better thing to do than take full advantage of it? 60 degrees means adventure mean donuts.
I wore my best striped crop top and pinkest tights to OdoodleDoo’s in Suffolk.
Have you been there? Its amazing!
Here’s to the hope that the Spring will stick around!
