6:30-8pm: One of my favorite events is this Friday! Come to the Strange Happenings Cemetery Tour in Elmwood Cemetery. Learn why the Victorian-era was a strange time to live and die in America. These great tours, led by historian Joshua Weinstein, help support the work performed by the Norfolk Society for Cemetery Conservation. There is a $5 suggested donation, but your soul will feel lighter if you leave more.
8pm: Head to the Robin Hixon Theater to see Deborah Henson-Conant, a Grammy-nominated electric harp virtuoso.
8-9:30pm: Spend an evening in hilarity at the Push Comedy Theater during The Improv Riot.
8pm-2am: Head to Charlie’s for a charity event including art and a dance party!
