America’s craft beer explosion combines with international tradition to create a unique culinary experience. Travel around the world in one afternoon in a taste bud tantrum along the beautiful Downtown Norfolk Waterfront at one of USA Today’s 2013 Best Beer Festivals. Craft beer enthusiasts can discover new, unique beers and enjoy their favorite brews.
Beer connoisseurs can enhance their beer knowledge and enjoy tastings while attending our Virginia Craft Beer Magazine Brew School. Brew School will host the best of the beer minds in the area to discuss the topics of HOPS at 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30 PM each day. Saturday features Pleasure House Brewing Company, Coelacanth Brewing Company, and Seven Arrows Brewing Company. Sunday speakers are from The Virginia Beer Co., O’Connor Brewing Company, and Commonwealth Brewing Company.
New this year, Virginia craft breweries will be featured in their own section of the park to highlight what our region has to offer. The craft beer industry in Virginia has boomed very quickly from just a handful of craft breweries a couple of years ago to more than 150.
