Stefan Sagmeister explores this question in his documentary The Happy Film, screening at the Slover Library this month.
This sequel to The Happy Show, a traveling exhibition from Sagmeister’s design studio Sagmeister & Walsh, premiered at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival and has just begun being screened in select cities.
